| Enjoy a week deepening your yoga practice, immersing yourself in the rich Turkish culture, exploring the sites of ancient civilizations, feasting on phenomenal cuisine, and swimming in the azure warm waters of the Mediterranean. Each morning we will have a guided meditation and pranayama practice followed by a long asana exploration. Late afternoon offers a yin style restorative class. Midweek optional excursion is to the local Fethiye farmer’s market, a slice of local culture. (Anne will guide and translate for all who wish to acquire souvenirs from the colorful local vendors.) Yuva Resort is a rare find only 2 hours from the international airport of Dalaman on Turkey’s southern coast, yet worlds away from the touristy towns. Our traditional Anatolian style cottages with views of the sea are nestled among terraces of olive, citrus and carob trees. Pines surround the area and paths weave through native herbs to our private swimming cove. Our host, Attila, and his family offer us warm Turkish hospitality with delicious meals of locally grown organic vegetarian food prepared in the traditional Turkish styke. We will have a cooking class so you can go home with recipes to recreate some of your favoirte dishes of the week!
